TNT is making some changes after coming capturing the championship in the first two conferences of PBA Season 49.
From now on, call them the TNT Tropang 5G.
The name change from the Tropang Giga came just days after TNT's PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup conquest of Ginebra.
TNT unveiled the new moniker and logo on Facebook on Thursday, April 3.
In the initial Philippine Cup schedule released by the league on March 31, TNT already used the new moniker.
After emerging on top in the first two conferences, the Tropang 5G are gunning for the rare Grand Slam when the All-Filipino conference rolls along on Friday, April 4.
Only Alaska, San Miguel, San Mig Coffee (now Magnolia Hotshots), and Crispa were able to achieve a season sweep.
