When it comes to on-court swag, no one probably comes close to F2 Logistics Cargo Movers ace Aby Maraño.

The seasoned spiker proved that once again on Tuesday as the Cargo Movers edged the PLT High Speed Hitters, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-15 to claim the bronze medal in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Maraño passed the ball to Kim Fajardo, went right and soared high for her signature running attack that caught the High Speed Hitters by surprise, then strutted her stuff on her way back to her teammates.

That changed the complexion of the nip-and-tuck contest at the Mall of Asia Arena. Her intensity rubbed off on her teammates and the Cargo Movers went on a furious 12-2 run to turn the game into a breakaway, 20-10.

The former De La Salle University Lady Spiker then put the finishing touches with another emphatic runner before showing off an archer gesture to pay homage to her college roots.

“Pana pana lang. DLSU pa rin,” she said with a smile after the game.

Marano also dedicated the victory to coach Ramil de Jesus, who made a surprise appearance in Game 1 of the best-of-three series.

“Super happy kasi first time na makaabot ng podium finish. And nakuha namin kahit papano 'yung goal namin,” she said. “Thank you so much kay coach Ramil kasi na-inspire niya kami nung nanonod siya nung Game 1.”
