In between intense training for the PVL Invitational Conference, the Chargers found time to loosen up and enjoy.
Teamwork yarn?
The Akari Chargers gave teamwork a whole new meaning in this hilarious Instagram story posted by Michelle Cobb on Wednesday.
In the said story, Trisha Genesis was seen using Ezra Madrigal as “plangketa” or bridge in what appeared to be an 8-ball game.
The shot was successful, leaving Dani Ravena and Krich Macaslang in awe and Cobb laughing.
While we didn’t know who won the match, activities such as this help foster camaraderie among teammates, which will prove integral in the Chargers’ campaign in the PVL Invitational Conference that starts on June 27.
With the addition of Faith Nisperos and Luth Malaluan, Akari is looking to improve on their 2-6 finish in the All-Filipino Conference.
Both Nisperos and Malaluan will debut for the Chargers against PLDT High Speed Hitters on July 1 at the Filoil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.
