The team did promise a #highspeedUPGRADE in 2024.
It may be the PVL offseason but the rumor mill continues to churn and the recruitment noise is just amping up.
The Cignal HD Spikers were the first to make a bang, signing up multi-awarded libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig after her former squad, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, disbanded.
The Farm Fresh Foxies then stepped up their game by tapping Hideo Suzuki, the reigning PVL Invitational Conference champion coach for Japanese guest team Kurashiki Ablaze, as team consultant.
So who's next? Fans have been speculating endlessly about the possibilities before the start of PVL's 2024 season, especially with other talented Cargo Movers becoming free agents.

Many have been making suggestions for the other teams to acquire new players to shore up their respective rosters.
With all the noise bouncing around, the PLDT High Speed Hitters decided to respond with a hilarious meme.
"'PLDT kumilos kayo. Recruit niyo si ano. Tsaka si ano. Kailangan niyo ng ganito. Tsaka ng ganyan,'" PLDT posted on Instagram, perhaps quoting messages from fans.
"Kami na nagbabalot ng lumpia for Noche Buena," it added, posting the viral photo of actress Kris Bernal looking teary-eyed with an emo haircut.
The photo found resurgence on social media, as people laughed and empathized with Bernal, who got quite a shock with the short haircut during her StarStruck days in 2007.
PLDT's funny post didn't stop fans though.
"Kumilos po kayo para hindi maging lumpia next conference hehe. Recruit KKD," fan @therissemac commented.
"Mhie, gugupitan ka namin ng ganyan kapag hindi kayo umayos, choz!" another fan added on X.
"'Wag na muna kayo magbalot ng lumpia. Kunin niyo si Eya sa poder ni Kungfu shusko 😭," posted another fan.
Some fans, meanwhile, viewed the post as a sign that something definitely is brewing with the High Speed Hitters.

There's definitely a reason for the stream of messages though, as PLDT earlier vowed an upgrade.
"Sinamahan niyo kami when we dared to dream bigger. Nagtiwala kayo, manalo man o matalo. Kinapos man, pero sabay-sabay nating nakita ang mga magandang pagbabago," the High Speed Hitters posted on social media last week.
"This year, we planted seeds. And in 2024, we will harvest the fruits of our hard work."
PLDT finished fifth in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference with a 7-4 record.
