Big things ahead for the Akari group.
All signs are pointing towards an even greater year for the Akari Chargers and Nxled Chameleons come 2024.
Akari announced that coach Taki Minowa will now serve as the Director of Volleyball Operations for both the Chargers and the Chameleons.
Minowa, who is also the husband of JT Marvelous middle blocker Jaja Santiago, had led the young Nxled squad to an impressive debut in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, finishing with a 4-7 record.

"After an outstanding coaching debut in the Premier Volleyball League, Nxled Chameleons' head coach Taka Minowa will now assume the role of Director of Volleyball Operations for both his squad and the Akari Chargers," Akari announced which was posted by the PVL in its website.
Under his new role, Minowa is set to take on the role of supervising the volleyball programs for the sister teams beginning in the upcoming PVL season.
But for the Nxled fans, don’t worry. The Japanese tactician will remain as the head coach of the team.
Akari, meanwhile, also revealed that the team will soon disclose the name of its interim head coach after the departure of coach Jorge De Brito.
The Chargers had finished with a 5-6 record in the conference, coming close to a possible playoff spot.
Along with this, the organization said that new assistant coaches will be added to the coaching staff of both Nxled and Akari.
Indeed, promising times for the Akari organization—and this is just the start of the PVL offseason.
