Training the next generation of volleyball stars.
Leagues are on a holiday break but volleyball never stops.
Veterans Jessey de Leon and Manuel Medina took time to impart their knowledge to the next generation as the two former University of Santo Tomas athletes led a training session in Hermosa, Bataan.
"Salamat Manuel Medina and Jessey de Leon, both from UST, for sharing your expertise. The drills, the proper approach, and timing," local coach Narciso Cruz posted on Facebook.
"(You're) welcome sir. Thank you rin po!" Medina, who is known among his peers as "Wewe" responded.
Medina is a native of Orani, Bataan, and has donned the province's jersey on several occasions.
The town of Hermosa has also produced several volleyball talents and is the hometown of reigning PVL Best Libero Thang Ponce of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
