With the highest odds in the draft lottery, the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles won the 2024 PVL Draft Lottery and will be selecting first overall in the draft.
The newly-rebranded ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles will be selecting first in the inaugural 2024 PVL Draft after winning the Draft Lottery conducted during The Staring Lineup at Cignal’s Launchpad Building headquarters in Mandaluyong City on Monday, June 24.
ZUS Coffee, formerly known as Strong Group Athletics, had the best odds at securing the top pick after their 0-11 record in the All-Filipino Conference. The team had 40 percent chance of landing the no. 1 selection.
With the first pick secured, Zus Coffee is now set to make a significant addition to its team via the upcoming Draft.

47 aspirants have applied for the PVL Draft, which will be held on July 8.
The list includes De La Salle University standouts middle blocker Thea Gagate, Leila Cruz, and setter Julia Coronel. Also part of the draft are Adamson University’s Lucille Almonte and the University of the Philippines’ Jewel Encarnacion and Steph Bustrillo.

A two-day Draft Combine showcasing rookies and free agents is set for 25 to 26 June at the Gameville Ballpark in Mandaluyong City.
The Capital1 Solar Spikers, who had the second-highest odds to land the top pick at 30 percent, will have the second pick. Meanwhile, the Galeries Tower Highrisers landed the third pick, while the Farm Fresh Foxies will have the fourth selection.
