There's no shortage of confidence for Greek import Zoi Faki as the readies for her debut with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the upcoming 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Having seen what the volleyball atmosphere has been like in the Philippines, Faki is eager to show off her skills, especially in front of Choco Mucho fans.

"I'm just really excited. Our first game is on Thursday and honestly, I can't wait. I can't wait to feel the environment," Faki told One Sports.

"I have only felt it through the TV. I've watched before I come here the games and it has been amazing, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little bit anxious. It's the start [but] I'm just grateful to be here and I just can't wait for us to start," she added.

Even at just 25-years -old, Faki already boasts a wealth of experience. In her younger years, she played for Greek clubs SFA Foivos Melission, AEK Athens, and GS Panionios.

She then attended the University of Pittsburgh before finishing her college career at San Diego State University.

Joining a championship-hungry team like the Flying Titans, Faki is relishing the pressure that comes with it, knowing that it will take a total team effort to bring home the crown.

"There's no pressure on my part because it's not gonna be me winning games alone. I have a lot of more girls by my side fighting to win, so the pressure is on the whole team to win and not only mine," said Faki.

"I wouldn't say it's just pressure, but also excitement to lead the group," she added.

Under Choco Mucho, Faki has been learning under the guidance of coach Dante Alinsunurin's system, a multi-titled mentor in the country.

As she continues her adjustments in the league, Faki had nothing but praises for the concurrent National University head coach.

"I can tell that coach Dante deserves to be one of the top coaches in the country," said Faki.

"He's just amazing to me how calm he is and how much confidence he gives his players. His system is really good. I'm still adjusting to it [coach Dante's system] but he has a very good system that we play in Choco Mucho," she added.
