Only five years have passed since Pangs Panaga led Petro Gazz to its first PVL title during the 2019 Reinforced Conference. In a memorable Game 3 at Ynares Sports Center Antipolo, Panaga’s remarkable effort secured a thrilling victory over Creamline, marking a historic moment for the team.

In a poignant twist, Panaga played a key role for the undermanned Cool Smashers, ending her former team's hopes for a three-peat.

This victory allowed Creamline to advance to the 2024 Reinforced Conference semifinals.

Even as the accomplished middle blocker now wears new team colors, the bonds of friendship with her former Petro Gazz squad remain strong and cherished.

In her Instagram story, Pangs shared a snap with Petro Gazz’ Wilma Salas, Djanel Cheng, Chie Saet, and Jonah Sabete.

“Luv u all,” she wrote.

Despite being with a new team, Panaga continues to chase her championship dreams, now alongside the Cool Smashers.

Together, they are determined to reach the Reinforced Finals as they face off against the Cignal HD Spikers in a crucial knockout semifinal game this Thursday at Philsports Arena
