Risa Sato could make her debut for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers when the team returns to action on January 21 against the Petro Gazz Angels.
It’s official!
Risa Sato is headed to the Chery Tiggo Crossovers after parting ways with the Creamline Cool Smashers last November, the team announced on Wednesday, January 15.
Sato’s championship experience will be a valuable asset to the Crossovers, joining forces with team captain Aby Maraño, Ara Galang, and Ces Robles.

She will also reinforce the team’s middle-blocker rotation alongside Cza Carandang and Seth Rodriguez, while Imee Hernandez continues her recovery from an ACL injury.
As per PVL rules, teams are allowed to finalize their rosters until January 17, provided the player was not listed in the initial lineup at the start of the conference.
With Sato not included in the opening roster, she is eligible to play for a new team.
