The Creamline Cool Smashers look to continue their dominant run and move closer to a preliminary sweep as they take on the Cignal HD Spikers in a highly-anticipated 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference showdown on Saturday, February 1, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The defending champions (6-0) have been unstoppable, with their latest victory coming in straight sets against the Nxled Chameleons.

Already strong in their first four matches, the Cool Smashers have become even more dangerous since the return of Tots Carlos, who has helped fuel their back-to-back straight-set wins in the new year.

Setter Kyle Negrito has been masterful in orchestrating Creamline’s offense, distributing the ball evenly to the team’s powerhouse attackers.

Negrito has been leading the way among the Best Setters category with 4.57 excellent sets per set.

With star hitters like Carlos, Jema Galanza, Bernadeth Pons, and Alyssa Valdez in peak form, the Cool Smashers are poised to extend their winning streak and solidify their grip on top of the standings.

Galanza and Pons are currently sixth and seventh among Best Spikers with 34.11 and 32.14 efficiency rates, respectively.  The former Adamson standout is also third among Best Receivers with a 27.97 percent efficiency rate.

A victory against Cignal (5-2) would bring Creamline one step closer to a potential elimination-round sweep, with matches against Chery Tiggo, Farm Fresh, PLDT, and Galeries Tower still ahead.

Expect the Cool Smashers to bring their signature firepower and precision as they aim to stay perfect when the action begins at 6:30 p.m.
