Two reigning domestic champions in Japan's Hiroshima Dragonflies and Taiwan's New Taipei Kings battle it out in Macau to start the EASL Final Four 2025
MACAU—The stage is set for an electrifying semifinals clash as the Hiroshima Dragonflies take on the New Taipei Kings in the 2025 East Asia Super League (EASL) Final Four at the Studio City Event Center here on Friday, March 7.
Two reigning domestic champions—Hiroshima from the Japan B.LEAGUE and New Taipei from Taiwan’s P. LEAGUE+—battle for a spot in the championship game.
The Kings secured the last Final Four berth with a crucial double overtime victory over the PBA's Meralco Bolts, finishing with a 4-2 record as Group B’s second seed.

Their reward? A high-stakes duel against Hiroshima, the Group A leaders, who lost just once in the group stage—a November 2024 setback to Suwon KT Sonicboom of the KBL.
For the Final Four, New Taipei could receive a major boost with the potential return of star guard Jeremy Lin, who has been sidelined since January 21 due to a right hamstring injury.
Lin has resumed training, fueling hopes for his comeback just in time for the biggest game of their season. Notably, Lin missed last season's Final Four also due to injury.
In the games he’s played for the Kings in the EASL, Lin is averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists.
Meanwhile, Hiroshima imports Dwayne Evans II and Kerry Blackshear will look to continue their solid outings in the EASL.
Evans is averaging 26.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, while Blackshear has been putting up 16.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists.
With both teams looking to cement their place in the EASL Finals, expect an intense battle when the semifinal tips off at 6:40 p.m.
