The Choco Mucho Flying Titans secured their fifth straight win in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after outlasting the Nxled Chameleons in five sets, 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Thursday, February 13.
Continuing their winning run in the past games, the Flying Titans staved off a serious challenge from the Chameleons, who are fresh off their first win in the conference.
After forcing a winner-take-all set, Choco Mucho pushed ahead early in the fifth after a 4-0 blast.
Royce Tubino and Maika Ortiz continued to pounce for the Dante Alinsunurin-led squad, pulling away for good as Isa Molde sealed the win with an emphatic down-the-line hit.
Sisi Rondina led the way for the Flying Titans with 23 points on 21 attacks, one block, and one service ace.
With the win, Choco Mucho improved to 7-3 for third in the standings. Meanwhile, Nxled dropped to 1-9, still bottom of the standings.
