Justine Jazareno draws motivation from her inclusion in the Alas Pilipinas wishlist while balancing her PVL career, academics, and motherhood.
Justine Jazareno continues to prove her worth to the Akari Chargers.
Coming back to the team after her giving birth to her first-born son, Jazareno has juggled multiple responsibilities—playing at a high level in the PVL, pursuing her degree, and embracing motherhood.
Now add to that is her recent inclusion in the Alas Pilipinas Women wishlist, which will see her tryout for the national team.

The young libero acknowledged that being recognized as an Alas member serves as an extra push to keep improving her game.
"Isa siyang motivation kasi siyempre, hindi biro yung mapunta sa wishlist ng national team," Jazareno told reporters. "Dadalhin namin yun sa PVL, kung nasaan kami ngayon, as motivation and hindi kami mag-stop."
Days after the PNVF’s list was revealed, Jazareno carried that mindset into Akari’s first win in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals.
The 24-year-old delivered 25 excellent digs and 13 excellent receptions in their five-set thriller against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 21-25, 16-14, at Ynares Center, Antipolo, on Saturday, March 29.
Beyond volleyball, Jazareno has also been working towards finishing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degree at De La Salle University, all while balancing her duties as a mother.
"Time management lang kasi sa sobrang dami ko nga ding ginagawa," she shared. "Parang kailangan ko rin… pag naga-adjust sakin ‘yung team, kailangan ako rin maga-adjust sa team kasi ‘yun nga, nandito na, all out na."
With the Chargers gaining momentum in the semis, Jazareno remains focused for now on both her immediate goals with the team in the PVL.
