The Adamson Lady Falcons are building on their third-place finish in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament with a “true blue” coaching staff.

After promoting homegrown coach JP Yude as head coach of the Lady Falcons, Adamson announced it was also tapping Bang Pineda and Leo Miranda as assistant coaches.

Pineda, who was the national team’s libero in the just-concluded Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia, and Miranda donned Adamson’s colors during their collegiate careers.

The team announced their addition through its official Facebook page on Tuesday.

“Congratulations true blue Falcons, Bang Pineda and Leo Miranda, the new Asst. Coaches of Adamson University’s women’s volleyball team!” the caption read.

The three are tasked to help the Falcons reach greater heights in the new UAAP season after finishing with a 10-4 record in Season 85.

Adamson made it to the Final Four, but eventually bowed to the twice-to-beat NU Lady Bulldogs.

With the likes of Louie Romero, Trisha Tubu, and Lorene Toring leading the charge, things are only looking bright for the Falcons.
