La Salle's Kevin Quiambao sends strong warning to rest of UAAP with beastly workout routine

Wondering how a Kevin Quiambao workout is like?

Strength and conditioning coach Miguel Aytona gave fans a glimpse of it in an Instagram Story on Tuesday.

Take a look:

No wonder Quiambao is only getting better on the court, and that is none more evident than in the La Salle Green Archers’ 87-76 win over the FEU Tamaraws in their UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball opener at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The reigning Rookie of the Year posted a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds in the same game his teammate Evan Nelle, who is rumored to be dating former presidential daughter Kitty Duterte, nearly turned in a triple-double of 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 12 assists.

But Quiambao is far from satisfied

“Syempre masaya (sa performance) pero ‘yung shot selection ko, more on pilit. Medyo excited lang talaga. Good thing pinakalma ako ni coach Topex (Robinson) nung halftime,” Quiambao said in the post-game press conference.

Under Robinson, the Green Archers will be put to the test anew when they take on defending champions and rivals Ateneo Blue Eagles on Wednesday.

Game time is set at 6pm at the same venue.

“Madami pa kailangan i-improve. Game 1 pa lang ito. Mahabang season pa,” he said.
