The women's volleyball tournament in UAAP Season 86 is still a few months away, but the excitement is already building. That's what good old college spirit does.
It also helps that former UAAP stars are getting involved in drumming up interest for the tournament. Former champions Jen Nierva and Fifi Sharma, who won with the De La Salle Lady Archers and NU Lady Bulldogs, respectively, recently revealed that they are part of season two of The Bounce, an online show about the UAAP.
But apparently, they aren't the only ex-UAAP queens who are part of it.
Jolina dela Cruz posted on her Instagram Stories about her joining The Bounce, along with Eya Laure.
For sure, Laure and dela Cruz had great stories to share about their colorful UAAP days. Laure exited as a legend with the UST Growling Tigresses, while dela Cruz helped Sharma and the rest of the Lady Archers win the title in Season 85.
Laure and dela Cruz, both 24 years old, are also not exactly new to entertainment. They have plenty of practice on their Instagram and TikTok accounts, where they show their true selves and fun personalities. Safe to assume, they did well during the taping (watch out for The Bounce on the UAAP Varsity Channel).
They may be done with their UAAP careers but volleyball life doesn't end for Laure and dela Cruz. On Sunday, the PVL's Second All-Filipino Conference will commence, ushering in another thrilling chapter for the country's top volleyball league.
Laure, Nierva, and the Chery Tiggo Crossovers will open their campaign on Tuesday against the Farm Fresh Foxies. Dela Cruz will also see action on the same day as the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers take on Sharma and the Akari Chargers.
