Future greats learn from the greats.

This was what appeared to happen when De La Salle Green Archers main man Kevin Quiambao worked out with a UAAP legend.

It was like a Jayson Tatum-Kobe Bryant moment, from which opportunity the Boston Celtics star certainly learned a lot—from pull-up jumpers to having the "Mamba Mentality."

Quiambao, who recently posted his second triple-double of the season, was with former FEU Tamaraws star RR Garcia.

Garcia, now playing for the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the PBA, shared a photo of the moment in an Instagram Story on Thursday.

He placed an MVP GIF beside Quiambao, who is the
MVP frontrunner in Season 86—just his second year in the league.

KQ, who was named last season's Rookie of the Year, reposted the photo on his Instagram Story and responded to Garcia, who was named UAAP MVP in 2010.

“Thank you kuya!!!” said Quiambao, who regularly posts his workout sessions.

Right now, the Green Archers are the hottest team in the UAAP after remaining unbeaten in the second round for a 10-3 win-loss record. Whatever happens in their last game on Saturday against the Ateneo Blue Eagles, they will tally their best record since 2017.

It remains to be seen whether Quiambao’s session with Garcia will help him get better as La Salle looks to win it all this season.
