This is the crossover nobody expected.

 

While De La Salle and Ateneo are fierce rivals, sportsmanship also run strong among members of two of the most storied sporting programs in the country.

 

And in a canon event, former Ateneo star Alyssa Valdez met the current cream of the crop De La Salle has to offer in a chance encounter in UAAP Season 86.

 

Valdez was commentator during the first game of Saturday’s late that featured NU and UP, while the Lady Spikers played in the second game, coincidentally against Ateneo.

The Lady Spikers handily won in a sweep, and reigning Rookie-MVP Angel Canino, Shevana Laput, and head coach Ramil De Jesus bumped into Alyssa post-game.
