A hectic week for Owa Retamar that all led to a championship and Finals MVP in his final season with the NU Bulldogs.
In just this past week, Owa Retamar officially completed his journey with National University.
Last May 9, Retamar had his graduation where he finished a Financial Management degree. Two days later, the 22- year-old setter led the Bulldogs to a dominant Game 1 victory against the University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 86 Finals.

Then come Wednesday, May 15, Retamar orchestrated NU to completing its goal of a rare four-peat, being hailed as the Finals MVP in the process after finishing with 24 excellent sets, along with three points in Game 2.
As he soaked in the championship, Retamar still couldn't believe that his NU life has come to an end.
"'Yung graduation natanggap ko na ayun graduate na ako, pero 'yung mage-end 'yung career ko na sa UAAP parang ang hirap pa rin tanggapin kahit nag-champion na kami," Retamar told One Sports.
"Nakakalungkot na nakaka-miss na tapos na ako sa college life ko [and] tapos na ako sa UAAP na pinapangrap ko dati. Ngayon, kumbaga panibagong plano ulit, kumbaga next na journey na pupuntahan," he added.
Come Season 87, the Bulldogs will have to adapt to playing without their superstar setter. But as early as now, Retamar has full faith in NU's returning setters in Joseph Bello, Greg Ancheta, and Clarenz Belostrino
"May tiwala ako kay Bello [na] kaya niya. And kay Greg and Clang, wala na ako masasabi sa kanila. 'Yung tiwala ko nasa kanila na and papatunayan nalang nila," said Retamar.
