UAAP Season 87 is bringing a fresh twist with homegrown courtside reporters, each representing their own school and adding a personal touch to the game.

Before the excitement of UAAP Season 87 kicks off, let’s get the scoop on the fabulous courtside reporters who’ll be bringing you all the drama and triumph from their very own campuses.

Ella Regudo, Adamson Correspondent

Ella, a 22-year-old from Adamson University, is juggling her pre-master’s program while flaunting her degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication. As a courtside reporter, she’s all about spotlighting the stories of athletes—especially her fellow klasmeyts—making every game a personal narrative.

Chersie Zulueta, UST Correspondent

Chersie Zulueta, once the libero star for De La Salle Zobel’s high school volleyball team, is now reporting live from the UAAP. Seeing her former teammates back in action is a heartwarming reunion that makes her courtside gig all the more special.

Althea Franco, UE Correspondent

Currently in her freshman year studying AB Broadcasting, Althea Franco has always dreamed of being an athlete since junior high. Though she might not have the moves herself, she’s now set on diving into the sports world by telling the real stories behind the athletes’ lives.

Cheska Ramos, UP Correspondent

With a lifetime of athletic experience and a high school volleyball background, Cheska Ramos is ready to bring her insider’s perspective to UAAP. Her sports journey means she’ll be serving up the most genuine and compelling stories from the sidelines.

Patrice Dabao, DLSU Correspondent

In her fifth year pursuing Interdisciplinary Business Studies with a minor in Sports Health, Patrice Davao is poised to make waves. With six years of basketball and a stint in volleyball during senior high, the back-to-back DLSU correspondent is excited to showcase her growth and deliver top-notch coverage.

Vicsi Burgos, Ateneo Correspondent

Though Vicsi Burgos isn’t out on the field herself, her love for watching sports makes her the perfect match for the reporter role—bringing all the excitement and insights straight to the audience.

Mae Reyes, FEU Correspondent

As a proud BA Communication student, Mae Reyes is not only thrilled to represent her school but also absolutely adores PVL and all things volleyball. She’s all set to level up her reporting game.

Denise Tubig, NU Correspondent

Denise Tubig, a BA Communication student, knows that being a reporter is no small feat. But she’s absolutely pumped to step into those big shoes and bring her enthusiasm to the NU community.

As we count down to UAAP Season 87, it’s not just the game action that’s thrilling—it's also the behind-the-scenes and personal stories from our courtside reporters.
