Ethan Galang's late game heroics pushed the UE Red Warriors past the FEU Tamaraws to finally enter the win column in the UAAP Season 87
The UE Red Warriors secured their first win of UAAP Season 87, defeating the FEU Tamaraws 56-51 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Down 51-48 late in the game, Ethan Galang sparked a comeback by hitting two clutch three-pointers, followed by two free throws, scoring UE’s final eight points.
Galang finished with 10 points, while Gjerard Wilson also added 10 to help UE improve to 1-2.
FEU, led by Jorick Bautista’s 16 points, dropped to 0-3.
UE will face defending champions De La Salle University next, while FEU seeks its first win against UP.
