Padrigao was named Player of the Game, finishing with 14 points and 11 assists, helping UST achieve a 4-3 record—their best so far since Season 82.
In just 24 minutes of action, he either assisted or scored in 39 of UST’s 83 points, according to statistician Pong Ducanes.
While Mo Tounkara added 21 points and 17 rebounds, Padrigao’s contributions were pivotal in securing the win.
The Growling Tigers now look to build on this momentum as they head to Round 2 and hunt for a Final Four berth.
