There will be no UAAP games happening on Wednesday, October 23, as the league announced the suspension of its events due to tropical storm "Kristine."

Though not expected to make landfall until Wednesday evening, signal warnings have been raised over Metro Manila — prompting class suspensions across NCR, including Quezon City and the City of Manila.

Games affected include the men’s basketball matchups between Adamson University and Ateneo, as well as the showdown between the UP Fighting Maroons and the UE Red Warriors.

Other events affected are the Junior High School basketball games, and High School Boys’ Volleyball.

The basketball games were slated at the Mall of Asia Arena, while the volleyball games were set for Paco Arena in Manila.

“The league will provide updates regarding the rescheduling of the postponed games at a later date.” the league’s statement read.
