Try and try until you succeed.

UE looks to finally wake up from a nightmarish stretch as the Red Warriors will go toe-to-toe against the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the UAAP Season 87 men’s volleyball tournament, Wednesday, February 26, at the Mall of Asia Arena. Match time is at 11:00 a.m.

Currently on a nine-game losing skid dating back to Season 86, John Aligayon and Co. welcome another opportunity to finally chalk up a much-needed victory.

It was back on March 17, 2024 when the Red Warriors last won a match in the men’s volleyball tournament, scoring a five-set win over the UP Fighting Maroons.

Since then, UE went winless in the second round — going 0-7 — on top of dropping their first two games this Season 87.

Against the Josh Ybañez-less UST, the Red Warriors could not exorcise the ghosts of the past and stumbled in straight sets.

Roy Piojo finished with a 13-points in that straight-set defeat as Andre Bicard tallied eight excellent sets and three excellent digs.
