Alas Pilipinas' Jia de Guzman has been re-signed by the Denso Airybees for the 2024–25 Japan V. League season.
After a historic bronze medal win at the AVC Challenge Cup 2024 and back-to-back podium finishes in the recent 2024 SEA V.League, Alas Pilipinas captain, Jia Morado-De Guzman, is embarking on another exciting chapter.
The playmaker has been signed once again by the Denso Airybees in the Japan V.League for 2024–25 season.
“We are pleased to announce that we have agreed to renew the contract with De Guzman Julia Melissa Morado for the 2024-25 season,” the Denso Airybees announced on Instagram.
"Grateful and excited for another season with the Denso Airybees," Jia shared on her Instagram.
Jia’s playmaking was vital to the Airybees' success, including their victory in the Japan V Cup, the tournament that followed the regular V.League season.
Her skills and leadership were instrumental in securing a fifth-place finish in the V.League Division 1 with a 12-10 record, reinforcing her status as one of the Philippines' elite setters.
