Falcons AP.Bren kicked off their MPL Philippines Season 13 playoffs with a champion-caliber performance, sweeping Blacklist International to secure an upper bracket finals berth at SM Southmall on Thursday.

In Game One, Falcons AP.Bren dominated with a lopsided 13-2 kill score.

Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo on Chip enabled Falcon AP.Bren to execute unpredictable ambushes against Blacklist. At the seven-minute mark, Owgwen intercepted Stephen “Sensui” Castillo on Carmilla at the top lane jungle, buying enough time for Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson on Fredrinn to safely secure the turtle objective.

Later in the game, Falcons AP.Bren took full map control and drew the first blood in the series as Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano on Roger scored a double kill in the last base siege against Blacklist.

Owgwen earned MVP citation with a commendable 0-1-9 KDA.

In Game Two, Falcons AP.Bren kept their upper hand against Blacklist.

At the eleven-minute mark near the lord objective, Super Marco’s grit and in-game IQ on Moskov shone bright, turning a 3-on-5 situation to their favor.

Falcons AP.Bren took a decisive 2-0 lead against the Codebreakers, courtesy of Super Marco with a clean 6-0-2 KDA.

The defending champions relentlessly carried their momentum until Game Three, mounting a sweep against Blacklist. Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel on Novaria bagged the MVP honor with a 3-0-7 KDA.

Falcons AP.Bren will face Team Liquid ECHO in the upper bracket finals, vying for the first ticket to the Mid-Season Cup (MSC) in Riyadh this July.
