It has been a hectic week so far for Gilas Pilipinas as the team has yet to finalize its roster for the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

Despite the questions surrounding the eligibility of some players, it's business as usual for Gilas as they try to catch up with their preparations for the tournament.

Arvin Tolentino, who was recently called on by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) to take part in the Asiad preparations, shared a part of Gilas’ training in Inspire Camp in Laguna.

On Instagram, Tolentino posted a video of the team getting into some “pool work.” The video shows the likes of June Mar Fajardo, Mo Tautuaa, and Cjay Perez in the pool. Chris Newsome, on the other hand, seems like he got ahead of everybody in getting a cardio workout in.

Tolentino and Perez are two of the four players tabbed to possibly replace Tautuaa, Calvin Abueva, Jason Perkins, and Terrence Romeo, who are all doubtful for Asiad play due to their non-inclusion in initial roster lists.

Marcio Lassiter, on the other hand, is taking the place of the sidelined RR Pogoy.

Naturalized reinforcement Justin Brownlee likewise shared a snippet of Gilas’ training in Laguna.

In his Instagram story, Brownlee shared a clip of the team members working out separately in the gym as they look to get in better shape for the regional tournament.

Gilas should have clarity on their final roster in the coming days.

The national team will leave for Hangzhou on September 23, and will take on Bahrain, Thailand, and Jordan starting September 26.
