Caloy makes it look effortless.
Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo is feeling pretty comfortable in his training for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
The world champion showed off on Instagram his practice session on Thursday with the caption, "Basic landings."
Naturally, he got people abuzz in the comment section.
"Yung ‘di man lang nagulo yung buhok," one fan commented.
His clean twists also got the attention of a gymnastics coach.
"Brilliant technique. So clean and precise. Would love to see more videos of other basics from you," wrote Australian coach Pat Redfern.
Yulo had quite a haul in the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championship last June, picking up gold medals in floor exercise, vault, and parallel bars. He also won a silver in individual all-around and a bronze in horizontal bars.
He is now focusing on the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will start on September 30 in Antwerp, Belgium.
This time, Yulo will try to regain his gold medals in floor exercise and in vault, as well as improve on his bronze medal finish in parallel bars.
More importantly, the Tokyo 2020 Olympian will try to secure qualification to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
