Myla Pablo might have started 2024 on a low note, but she is ending the year on a high after finding her vintage form once more for the Petro Gazz Angels in the PVL.
It’s safe to say that Myla Pablo is back to her deadly form for the Petro Gazz Angels.
2024 has been a rollercoaster year for Pablo, following her return to the Angels from F2 Logistics for the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference back in January.
However, the 31-year-old superstar spiker found limited minutes upon her return, falling behind Brooke Van Sickle and Jonah Sabete in the rotation over the last few conferences.
But now in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference, Pablo has been finding her groove once more, putting up double-digit scoring in the past four games, all victories for her team.
This includes her 15-point contribution in Petro Gazz’s straight-sets win against the Cignal HD Spikers, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Saturday, December 14.

As the year ends, the two-time PVL Conference MVP is grateful to have found her confidence once more.

But more than finding her vintage self, Pablo is hoping to contribute in any way she can to help Petro Gazz achieve glory in 2025.
“Sana makuha namin ‘yung goal namin sa team siyempre ilang taon na magkakasama ‘yun naman talaga ‘yung goal namin,” said Pablo.
“Kumbaga matagal na magkakasama kailangan may goal kami na isa or magsama sama kami as a team manalo o matalo kailangan sama-sama pa rin kami.”
