Andy Gemao will be pursuing his dreams of playing abroad.
What a flex!
High school phenom Andy Gemao, who has starred for the Letran Squires, shared on Saturday a photo any basketball fan would love to experience for themselves. It was a shot with Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson.
The opportunity came as Gemao arrived in the United States and immediately went to training three hours after their plane landed.
"Three hours after our airplane landed, Andy works out with Klay Thompson. Jetlag!? No excuses!" posted A Skillz Basketball page, who is working with Gemao.
The young guard will be working with Charlie Max Torres, also known as Bucketsworth, as his skills coach.
Torres is also responsible for honing Thompson's moves in the NBA.
Gemao has left Letran to pursue his international dreams, and this is only the beginning.
"The real work starts now," he posted.
It's been quite a road for the Letran phenom, having played for the FIBA U16 Asian Championship 2022 last year.
Last June, he secured an invite to the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp and was named to the boys all-star squad.
This weekend, Gemao will play for Veritas Prep.
Good luck with your journey, Andy!
