For the first time since 2016, The Rock is seeing action at WrestleMania to team up with Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
If there ever was a WrestleMania that needed two nights, 40 is it.
XL is a fitting Roman numeral for this event, as WWE put together arguably the most stacked WrestleMania in history.
As confirmed by Hall of Famer and WWE COO Triple H, Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 will be headline by the mega tag team showdown between the team of The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. the tandem of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
If the Rock and Roman win, the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match for Night 2 between Reigns and Rhodes will be fought under “Bloodline Rules.”
Also happening on Night 1 is the Women’s World Championship match between champion Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch.
Another title match will feature Gunther vs. Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.
Completing the title card for WrestleMania’s opening night
are the Judgment Day defending their Undisputed Tag Team titles in a 6-pack ladder match.
The opening act of WrestleMania 40 will be completed with intense persona rivalries, with twin brothers Jey and Jimmy Uso settling their score.
Family matters also center around father and son Rey and Dominik Mysterio meeting for a second-straight WrestleMania, but this time in a tag team match with Dragon Lee partnering up with Rey, and Santos Escobar linking it up with Dominik.
In another massive tag match, Damage CTRL featuring the Kabuki Warriors will take on Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Jade Cargill.
