Kai Sotto finds a new home in Japan.

The Koshigaya Alphas have announced they are signing the Gilas Pilipinas big man for the 2024-25 B. League season, the team announced.

Sotto is coming off his best season in his pro career with the Yokohama B-Corsairs last season, averaging 12.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 blocks in 34 games.

The Alphas earned a promotion to Japan’s top flight league after finishing as one of the top two teams alongside the Shiga Lakes in the B2 division. Koshigaya is led by a dynamic 5-foot-9 point guard in Shun Matsuyama, who averaged 16 points and 4.5 assists last season.

While in Yokohama, Kai logged eight double-doubles and scored his career-high in points, a 28-point effort against Alvark Tokyo.
