Carl Tamayo continues to impress in his first Korean Basketball League (KBL) season.

The 23-year-old forward put up a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds in the Changwon LG Sakers’ 90-76 win over the Samsung Thunders on Tuesday, December 17.

Tamayo also had six assists in the victory, which gave the LG Sakers their eighth win in the league this season.

This game also marked Tamayo’s first double-double as a pro, including his earlier stint in Japan with the Ryukyu Golden Kings.

Changwon dominated from the get-go, taking all three quarters before allowing Samsung to lessen the huge lead late in the fourth.

Tamayo and the LG Sakers will be back on Friday, December 20 when they stake their three-game winning streak against defending KBL champion Busan KCC Egis.
