Dwight Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido look to start a winning streak anew in a 2024-25 Japan B.League weekend duel with the Koshigaya Alphas.

Levanga snapped out of a two-game skid after a 96-92 victory over the Gunma Crane Thunders in their last outing.

Earlier, they had a three-game winning streak in which Ramos averaged 22 points before stumbling to a min-slump.

At 17-28, Levanga is in fifth place in the East while Koshigaya is not far behind at no. 6 behind a 14-31 win-loss slate. Both teams have a longshot of contending for the two wildcard playoff spots.

The Alphas are on a four–game losing skid, hoping to avenge their 84-79 loss to Hokkaido squad in their first meeting this season. Injured big man and Gilas Pilipinas' Kai Sotto is out for the rest of the season for Koshigaya with an ACL injury.
