Dominant from start to finish, the Angels started the decisive third set on a 6-1 blast and never looked back, leading by as many as 12 points at one point in the frame.
American spiker Gia Day and Jonah Sabete would put on the finishing touches in the commanding win, which secured the second seed in Pool D with a 1-1 record.
Day finished the match with a game-high 17 points. MJ Phillips and Brooke Van Sickle added nine and eight markers, respectively, for Petro Gazz.
Petro Gazz will face Beijing Baic Motors in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 24.
