Thailand's Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC almost succumbed to a meltdown before coming alive in the fifth set and completely thwart the PLDT High Speed Hitters in their Pool D match in the 2025 AVC Women's Champions League.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters were on the verge of completing a comeback before being stopped by Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC 2025 in the AVC Women’s Champions League at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, April 22.
Down two sets, PLDT was able to even the score before bowing out in the final frame, 24-26, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-9.
The High Speed Hitters will finish second in Pool D and will face the top seed of Pool A, Zhetysu VC, in the next round.
Meanwhile, Nakhon will finish as the top seed of Pool D and will face the Creamline Cool Smashers in the quarterfinals.
