The last team to punch a Final Four ticket, De La Salle looks to gain momentum as much as possible.

Back in action after a 10-day rest are the Green Spikers, who square off with the also-ran Adamson Soaring Falcons in the UAAP Season 87 men’s volleyball tournament, Wednesday, April 23, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.

Serving time is at 11:00 a.m.

DLSU intends to extend their winning streak to four games and keep pace with the UST Golden Spikers (8-4) in a tight race for the no. 3 playoff seed.

The Green Spikers marked their official entry to the postseason festivities after a hard-fought 11-25, 25-18, 25-21, 28-30, 15-9 grindfest against the gutsy UP Fighting Maroons.

Noel Kampton took matters into his own hands thanks to a 24-point outburst, including the game-sealing cross kill to give DLSU a third consecutive trip to the Final Four.

Eco Adajar racked up 24 excellent sets to go along with nine excellent digs, while reigning best libero and team captain Menard Guerrero submitted 15 excellent digs.

“With the game, I think trinabaho naman talaga namin, pero gaya nung sinasabi ko sa team ko, kung sino 'yung nasa harap, gagawa talaga 'yan ng paraan just to beat us, kaya kailangan natin lumaban talaga. ‘Yon lang 'yung reminder namin sa kanila, and nag-respond naman 'yung team,” Green Spikers head coach Jose Roque spoke to reporters in post-game press conference.

DLSU will lock horns with the no. 1 FEU Tamaraws (12-1) on Saturday, April 26 to wrap up their preliminaries.
