Work never stops for the hungry.
Gilas Pilipinas and Japan B.League’s Ryukyu Golden Kings would love to see this.
Carl Tamayo inked a deal with the Golden Kings earlier this month and he is getting into work ahead of his professional debut.
In an Instagram post, True Focus Basketball shared that the former UP King Maroon is “in the lab” to work on his game.
Jolo Tamayo, the personal trainer behind True Focus, is not new in helping players elevate their game — in particular, players bound for Japan.True Focus previously worked with brothers Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena as well as Kobe Paras among other lists of local hoopers.
This latest development with the UAAP champion bodes well not only for his new team but as well as Gilas Pilipinas.
Tamayo was not present on Monday’s training of the national team pool, but he is expected to at least fight for a spot in the squad for the February window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
