Emma Malabuyo is officially heading to Paris.

The 21-year-old Filipina gymnast secured a spot in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics after getting the bronze medal in the individual all-around event at the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Uzbekistan on Friday.

Giving the Olympics one final attempt after missing out on qualification through the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series, Malabuyo scored 50.398 points in the continental competition behind China's Hu Jiafei and Qin Xinyi, who scored 50.699 and 50.566 points, respectively.

Kazakhstan's Aida Bauyrzhanova placed fourth with a score of 50.365.

Malabuyo is the highest-ranked athlete eligible for the quota, as confirmed by the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, the Philippine Olympic Committee, and the Philippine Sports Commission.

Malubyo is now the fourth Filipino gymnast who qualified for Paris, joining Carlos Yulo, Aleah Finnegan, and Levi Ruivivar.

Malabuyo excelled in her specialty, the floor exercise, earning 13.333 points. She also scored 13.033 in vault, 12.566 on the balance beam, and 11.466 on the uneven bars.

Jung-Ruivivar placed seventh in the individual all-around with 49.166 points, while Ancilla Lucia Mari Manzano and Kaitlin de Guzman also competed for the Philippines.

"I'm just so overwhelmed. I'm speechless. I think I'm still shaking just hearing the news. And I'm still like, 'Is it real?' Like, I still can't believe it just because it's been such a long and arduous path to get here," Malabuyo told Olympics.com following the competition.

"I'm in shock and I can't believe it,” she added.

With Malabuyo's addition to the Paris lineup, the Philippines will have its largest gymnastics delegation at a single Olympics since sending four gymnasts to the 1964 Tokyo Games.
