Pinay gymnast Levi Jung-Ruivivar is definitely Gen Z-coded, as she asked random people on the street their ideas about her future Olympic tattoo.
Tattoos can serve as a permanent reminder for athletes of their achievements and the hard work it took to reach that milestone.
Likewise, Filipina gymnast Levi Jung-Ruivivar would like to commemorate her qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 by getting a tattoo.
But of course, as a yassified Gen Z, the youngest delegate of the Philippine Centennial team took to social media to ask her supporters for her Olympic tattoo.
In her recent mini-vlog, Levi asked strangers for ideas.
“Since I made Paris 2024, I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo. So I’m going to be asking strangers where I should get the tattoo and what the design should be,” 18-year-old Levi said.
“I think you should get an Eiffel Tower on your side right here [pointing at his side tummy] and a gold medal because you already know,” suggested a random man from the grocery store.
“The Olympic signs, like the rings, on your forehead,” recommended a lady in front of a cafe.
Like this, Levi?
“I’m guessing, like, behind your nation’s flag, right behind it, the Olympics,” added another man.
Levi seems to like this idea.
In her recent visit to the Philippines for the Media Day with fellow gymnast, two-time Olympian Carlos Yulo, she expressed her utmost gratitude for the Filipino community.
“My brief visit to Manila was incredible. I am so grateful that I got to spend some time with the next gen, The FUTURE of Philippine Gymnastics. I can’t wait to come back to do some clinics with the younger girls and train with the rest of the National Team!!!! Pinoy Pride!!!!,” she posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend Caleb, who jokingly acted like he didn’t know her beloved girlfriend got qualified for the Olympics, proposed a tattoo design where the Olympic rings are inked on Levi’s wrist.
So, who has the best idea for Levi?
