Kim Seok-jin, or popularly known as Jin, of South Korean boy group BTS carries the torch of South Korea in this year’s Olympics in Paris, France.

A montage showing Jin carrying the Olympic flame in the Louvre Museum in Paris was uploaded on the official account of the Olympics on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games is marked by a ritual known as the Olympic torch relay, which was influenced by ancient Greek customs.

ARMY, the fans of BTS, have been expressing their support for the global superstar on social media with the trending hashtag #JinxOlympics2024.

After being enlisted in December 2022, Jin was released from the military in June. He served for 18 months.

BTS is anticipated to reunite in 2025, with the remaining members still serving in the armed forces.
