After years of determination, persistence, and soaring dreams, Philippine Olympic gymnasts Emma Malabuyo, Aleah Finnegan, and Carlos Yulo finally stepped foot into the Olympic Village for Paris 2024.

The Olympic Village is a temporary residential complex specifically built to accommodate athletes, coaches, and officials participating in the Olympic Games. It serves as the central hub where athletes from around the world live during the Games.

It's not just a place though; it's a vibrant, bustling community where dreams converge and cultures intertwine. For the Filipino gymnasts, stepping into the Olympic Village marks the culmination of years of dedication and sacrifice. It's a moment when they become part of a global celebration of athleticism and human achievement.

In her Instagram story, Filipino-American Aleah Finnegan shared snaps of their first steps into the Olympic Village with her fellow gymnasts, Emma Malabuyo and Carlos Yulo.

“Officially made it to the Olympic village,” she wrote.

The Filipino gymnasts couldn’t resist striking a pose, soaking in every moment of their incredible journey.

The grind continues for the Philippine Centennial Team, as it will be less than a week before Paris 2024.
