Steph Curry knocked down eight triples to steer Team USA to its fifth straight gold – and his first ever – after beating France in the Paris 2024 men's basketball finals.
Steph Curry made sure that the lengthy wait for his Olympic debut would be worth it as he fired 24 points on eight-for-12 triples to lead Team USA to a 98-87 victory over France in Paris 2024 men's basketball finals on Sunday, Aug. 11 (Philippine time).
Curry, who was not selected in the American roster for London 2012 and skipped Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 due to health and personal reasons, respectively, thus earned his first gold medal in his debut while helping Team USA rule for the fifth straight time and 17th overall.
