Scottie Thompson, tumira ng tres, puyat hanggang alas tres.

Yep, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel star won't be getting a lot of sleep in the coming weeks after he and his wife, Jinky Thompson, welcomed their bundle of joy on Friday.

Scot Alystair Thompson is now the biggest star of the household (PBA MVP who?), and he and daddy got a lot of love from a bunch of PBA players on Instagram. The well-wishers included, of course, Thompson's teammates Jamie Malonzo, Christian Standhardinger, Aljon Mariano, and Von Pessumal.

His former teammates Mark Caguioa and Prince Caperal also sent their congratulations, with The Spark even getting some "cooking" from Thompson.

The love wasn't confined to the PBA community, as PVL star Rachel Anne Daquis also greeted her "kapatid."

While it's still early to name the ninongs and ninangs of their little angel, who weighed eight pounds when he was born, the do-it-all Thompson already revealed one of them. Probably.

His Gilas Pilipinas teammate Ray Parks Jr. also commented on the post, saying it's "truly a blessing to this world." Thompson replied and called Parks "Ninong Paksiw."

As for how that nickname originated, it's still unclear (WE NEED TO KNOW!) and would need to be checked by the country's esteemed historians and revered linguists. One thing's already sure though: Star-studded 'yung binyag.
