Matt and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser are now on the same side as they both suit up for the TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup.
Brothers Matt and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser were used to trashtalking against each other on the court.
It all changed when the younger Ganuelas-Rosser found himself in the same team with his big bro following the three-team deal among NLEX, TNT and Blackwater almost a week ago.
Matt said it is nice to cheer for each other for a change as the two now don the same Tropang Giga jersey in the ongoing PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup.
“This time, it's nice to cheer for him and talk basketball together, doing it together. It’s been fun so far,” he said.
BGR shared the same sentiment.
“Like Matt said, it’s a blessing. It’s something I’ve dreamed of. Just really fortunate and blessed to have this opportunity. I just want to cherish it, the highs and the lows, just stay together,” he said.
Asked if playing together has any disadvantage, MGR kept it simple.
“I think the only disadvantage might be when we go home and have like a family dinner, we’re going to talk about work probably,” said the lanky cager, whose team now holds a 1-1 record in the All-Filipino conference after failing to follow up on their opening day win over Rain or Shine.
The Tropang Giga succumbed to Blackwater, 76-87, in the first of a double header at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, March 2.
“Besides that, I don’t see any disadvantage. It’s been fun. It’s been a blessing.”
