Rain or Shine flipped the script on Blackwater in the fourth period as it hammered out a 110-103 win in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Saturday, April 6.

The Elasto Painters overhauled a six-point deficit in the final frame as it went on a pivotal 10-to-nothing tear to pick up their third straight win after four consecutive losses.

The Bossing surrendered their last three games for an even 3-3 card.

Andrei Caracut sparked that run with a three-point play with 8:22 remaining before Santi Santillan's layup on the break capped it off for Rain or Shine to gain the upperhand, 96-92.

The Elasto Painters managed to keep Blackwater at bay from there, with Santillan and Beau Belga putting the finishing touches with a combined 4-of-8 from the foul line.

Belga followed up a triple-double outing with a sterling 21-point, seven-rebound, four-assist performance against the Bossing.

Jhonard Clarito and Andrei Caracut added 16 and 12 points, respectively.

"We've been playing really good in the second half. We were able to recover in time," said Elasto Painters coach Yeng Guiao.

Rey Suerte tried to will his team back, dropping nine of his 20 points in the payoff period. But he could only do so much as Rain or Shine stayed composed in the face of Blackwater’s last-ditch resurgence.

In his first game against former team Rain or Shine, Rey Nambatac scored 13 points before fouling out with still a minute and 40 seconds to go in the match.

James Kwekuteye chipped in 11 markers and Troy Rosario added 10 points and eight boards.
