Like he has done the past few games, San Miguel rookie Kyt Jimenez sat comfortably on the bench as he watched the Beermen lean on a third quarter explosion to trump helpless Converge, 112-103, in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup on Friday, April 19.

Perhaps the only thing that was different in Jimenez was he was no longer wearing a cast on his right arm.

The YouTube sensation said that his right forearm is now pain-free after he figured in a freak accident in his bathroom last month which resulted to a cut that needed 19 stitches to close.

“Nagagalaw ko na kahit papaano 'yung kamay ko. Getting better everyday kasi everyday naman ang therapy ko,” he told One Sports after the match at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

There was no timetable yet for his return.

But Jimenez said he might start participating in basketball drills on the first week of May.

“Hindi ko pa masabi pero ang start ko sa basketball side, siguro, first week ng May, magsyu-shooting-shooting na ako,” he said.
