As the race for the four quarterfinal slot in each group intensifies, San Miguel seeks pivotal win in the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup on Wednesday, September 11.
The Beermen (3-2) will meet NLEX (3-3) at 7:30pm at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

After dropping a 112-108 decision against the same team in the first round of Group B action, San Miguel is eager to settle the score against the skidding Road Warriors.
San Miguel will field in import Sheldon Mac, a 31-year-old American journeyman who boasts of three years' worth of NBA experience with the Washington Wizards.
The 6-foot-5 cager from Houston, Texas is replacing Jordan Adams, who showed his range and scoring prowess following a 50-point performance against Blackwater last August 25.

Meanwhile, NLEX is looking to hop back on the winning path after dropping the last two matches.
Incidentally, the Road Warriors last win came at the expense of San Miguel in an out-of-town game in Cagayan de Oro City.
Like NLEX, Converge is also doing everything in its power to snap a three-game slump.
The FiberXers, 2-4, will face NorthPort (3-3) in the 5pm match at the same venue.
