Justin Brownlee left in the third quarter of the Game 3 duel between his Ginebra Gin Kings and the TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals.
Justin Brownlee sustained a dislocated thumb in the thick of battle between Ginebra and TNT in Game 3 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals Wednesday night, March 19.
This after Brownlee dove for a loose ball with 6:42 remaining in the third period and the Gin Kings trailing, 58-59.
Brownlee then exited the match and Ginebra eventually surrendered an 85-87 decision to its rival.
According to assistant coach Olsen Racela, the naturalized Filipino was immediately taken to the hospital.
Brownlee collected 19 points, four rebounds and six assists before leaving the court.

It is unclear whether or not the beloved Ginebra import can play in Game Four on Friday, March 21, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

But Ginebra teammate Troy Rosario and the rest of the Gin Kings are hopeful Brownlee can see this series through.
"Hopefully, nothing serious 'yong nangyari kay Justin kasi kailangang-kailangan namin siya," said Troy Rosario.
